Experience numerous native and exotic plants and animals.  A farmyard and buildings gives us a great chance to see up-close friendly farm animals. 

Meet the kiwis as they search the dark forest floor looking for tasty morsels.  Being nocturnal, they are housed in a special night house  without glass or wire

Studies
With a guide, we stroll through the New Zealand native bush and various compounds learning what made the plants and animals different.    We investigate the threats to them now and explore the conservation programs in place.

Here too we can investigate the plants that early Stone Age Maori used to build their homes, make their clothes, weapons and tools.
