These hotels are generally located in older town centre hotel buildings or more modern purpose built entities. 

Motels are all clean & heated with 2 - 3  beds in each of up to 2 rooms.   The comfortable beds full bedding and towels supplied.  Each unit has an attached toilet & shower. TV and facilities for making hot drinks.

All have secure locks and power points for charging cell phones etc.

Motels are frequently located in pleasant, safe, family oriented holiday parks that provide kitchens for self-catering meals, a meeting room for groups, laundry facilities, internet, usually a shop and space for outside recreation.

Four star motels are  generally newer and offer better facilities for the higher price involved 

Note: Low budget safari meals are not usually available for groups staying in accommodation over 2 star quality.
