12 Wed-own-Fukuoka
The day is flexible to enjoy and orientate
Lots of recovering done. 8.30 headed to breakfast and another culture shock. Almost first in. Took a fruit juice and bowl of soup? (nice) Returned for some rice and added some other stuff. This too was delightful. Then the locals began arriving and I learned much more. You need a tray and a multi serving plate as well as 2 bowls, Then walk around the items adding choices to the tray. Did that, had no inkling of what there is in many of the choices. For a non-foodie, it was all delightful.

Walked 3.5km to the ocean front then took a ferry to an (attached) island. Map coming. Was around 25deg with a pleasant sea breeze. Sore feet after returning for a nice shower and another microwave pre packed dinner for around $8.

A little card to tell the wait staff you are still eating. The other side says the table can be cleared - Brilliant!!!
