Along the Arthurs Pass trail we travel through this large national park.  It located among the Southern Alps has excellent rain forests, great information centre, camping and picnic areas, accommodation, tourist services, beautiful walking trails to the mountain tops, a ski field, rivers and awesome waterfalls.
