In this zone visitors experience the best available range of high mountain rivers.

The trails follow the lower course wide, braided depositing rivers into the mountains where they become steep fast flowing upper course flows eroding and transporting millions of tonnes of their stony bed-loads of broken mountains to the oceans. 

Studies
We see the various processes of the gatherings and witness alpine river erosion involved with the "upper courses" of various rivers. KANES  help us experience the extraordinary power of moving water and understand the processes involved with:- floods, controls, Irrigation, etc.  In this zone we follow rivers carving into glacier valleys, learn about the forces that cause the valley walls to collapse and see transportation of mountains to the oceans.
