On the fast flowing Shotover River you will experience Queenstown's most exciting rafting rides.  
  
We enjoy a 1 hour on the river with its 7 trilling rapids (up to grade 4).

The trip includes floating through an old mining tunnel.
  
Rafting is thrilling? - Wait till you ride the access road through the canyon.  (Helicopter access optional.)

Note: The equally exciting access through the steep narrow river gorge sometimes closes. On these occasions the alternative Kawarau River is available or a helicopter take the groups in.
