The Luge is a highly recommended fun activity for all ages. After an exciting chairlift ride high on the mountain top participants arrive at the beginning of the track. The 800 metre down hill path incorporates bumps, tunnels, tight bends and allows for some thrilling speeds to spice the excitement. Each luge has brakes and steering; gravity provides the forward momentum. Racing and overtaking are all part of the challenge as drivers quickly develop their skills and confidence. Luges operate in Queenstown (South Island) and Rotorua (North Island)
