Two star lodge units provide more space than 1 star "cabins".

Lodges are all clean & heated with 2 - 4 beds in each unit.   The comfortable beds have a clean under sheet and cased pillow. Bring your own (or hire) sleeping bag.  Clean toilet showers TV, and dining areas are usually located in the same building as your room.

Lodges & "hostels" all have secure locks and power points for charging cell phones etc.

They are usually located in pleasant, safe, family oriented holiday parks that provide kitchens for self-catering meals, TV room, laundry facilities, internet, usually a shop and space for outside recreation.
