Weather in New Zealand offers wide differences with several microclimates in a small land.

Winter Season: 
(May - Sept)

Generally drier conditions with more sun - snow is common on the southern mountains and is often experienced at ground level.
Daytime temperatures average between 7 - 15  deg. C  with some nights down to  to -5 deg. or less.  This season is particularly beautiful.

Summer Season:
(Nov - Mar)

There are more daylight hours each day and average temperatures range between 12 - 27 deg. C. with some nights down to +5 deg. C.  This is the most popular tourist season.
