To Katherine Gorge

Mon Left our lovely site early
and heading to Katherine and its famous gorge. On arrival decided to
do a walk above the river. It was going to be 4 hours
but ended up to be 7 - and nearly 20 km so got back stuffed. Lousy
track littered with large sharp loose rocks and quite indistinct in
places with minimal markers that left me straying from the trail on
several occasions. Staying at the park camp and ended the day
with a fantastic chicken meal, a beer and a coke beside the pool to help with
the rehydration and the screaming feet - nice.
