Took an early morning walk and swim in the upper pools with the cuzzies.  Nice and refreshing, quiet and secluded. Then after listening to a local ranger about the nature of the park was shoved out with the pressure of those wanting to get in to the camp.  - well, it was after 10 am. 

Put plan "C" into action and back-tracked to Katherine, topped up and headed south-west on the Victoria Hwy. having left the cuzzies to enjoy their leisure and great swimming hole.
