MON  1 – Arrive Victoria Falls

After 10 hr night flight, arrived at Johannesburg Airport 4am ready for a 6 hour stay over before heading to Victoria Falls. Loraine and the guide, Brett, are franticly looking for ways to get a visa real quick.  No doubt there will be extra costs involved; if it can be arranged.  It seems South Africans don't want Kiwi visitors.  Never saw any sheep for them to be concerned about so assume they require this as retaliation for the way NZ government requires South Africans to jump through hoops to visit NZ. Watch this space!

Sunrise at Johannesburg

After arriving 1230 our award winning guide – Brett Drew will meet us at Victoria Falls airport and transfer us to the stunning Gorges Lodge.  Everything is included during our stay here- even the mini bar!!   After lunch relax and catch up on some sleep before meeting on the bird deck to watch the black eagle flights while sipping drinks and enjoying nibbles before returning to the restaurant for dinner.
