MON 15  Heading to Perth

Left Swakopmund 0830 in a wet fog with an hour to spare, temperature 13 deg.  After 20 km into the desert it dropped to 11deg.  At 50 km the sea mist lifted and the temperature and altitude climbed to 30deg and 1100m.  The drive was 370km and that meant there was not much time -   no panic if the car goes well. - It did.  The man was there to take the car on arrival - no damage, Reached check-in at 1.5 hrs before departure to face a 20 min wait before they opened.
