Just 60km travel - good
roads. Kontum has a history of Catholic missionaries from the
French days and the day began with a visit to the church (1906)
orphanage and seminary (1934 for teaching priests) now used for
other activities. The persecuted Catholics moved from the north when
Communism, under Hoe Chi Minh, took power (mid 50's). After a
drive, walked around a local village of mainly coffee growers.
Early stop at the hotel.
