Day 18 - Tue 23 May. Through the Caucasus to Yeghegnadzor. We continue our journey traversing the Caucasus and take the world's longest cable car across a gorge to visit the ancient Tatev Monestry, a UNESCO World Heritage site. As we continue towards the Vayots Dzor (pics) region we visit Noravank Monestry, perched on the cliffs in a river canyon. We will stay overnight in the village of Hermon, near Yeghegnadzor (pics) with plenty of fascinating sights, including an ancient observatory at Karahundge, Satan’s Bridge, Wings of Tatev.
