One commercial operator uses a small train to take us up an old loggers railway through a narrow gorge with towering limestone cliffs and dense rainforest. After fitting helmets and cave lights, an experienced professional guide leads us deep into a limestone cave. The wonderful formations we witness have been growing and changing due to the activities of nature over hundreds of millions years. The guide explains their history plus the chemical and physical processes involved with their development.
