A loved treasurer built of local stone this little church occupies a commanding view of of the beautiful Lake Tekapo. 

 It was built as a thanks giving for the wealth and kindness the residents enjoyed from this harsh, yet stunning land.

Today the church proudly caters for different religious services and celebrations.

Nearby we find the dog statue that reminds us of the work these animals loyally gave their masters caring for the sheep. Its fun to climb on and take those unusual pictures
