The Directors
Lloyd & Margaret Kane have always enjoyed travel, and life outdoors. 

Experiences began with school youth clubs, a small food businesses, a over a decade with the national service (army) eventually leading and training army medical teams and leading a large scout group involving leaders and parents of kids from age 5 to 17.  Other activities included being president and treasurer of a ski club and a business development organisation.  KANES Educational Tours began in 1989 and has seen thousands of students with their school's teachers enjoy New Zealand. 

Our Objectives
To provide a memorable low cost fun time, that develops knowledge of the world, skills for living and confidence to move forward.  We also help the teachers keep planning and preparation time to a minimum.

We work closely with teachers to ensure planning and operations safely meet these objectives.
