Met the 5 people in the group at breakfast, all Ausies, all very well travelled and all, like me, "young 50's".   still one to meet.  Off to see the largest mosque in this area  *  The National Museum * The building of Peace & Reconciliation * and whatever else may be of interest.

5pm met the group for intros, formalities, a drink and dinner.  The final member is a kiwi guy living in Wellington and originally from Timaru. The guide is a 30 something Russian, Demetrius.  

About to explore a university building  so sad about the poor maintenance - eek!!

Next destination to the National Museum

It's  closed  Singaporean PM is here - and lots of ss and police.
These 2 were the only friendly police I passed by today.

Heading to the Peace & Reconciliation building supported by all world leaders
including the pope, US & Russian president.  Opened around 2003
