Departure for Dubai (changed from 11pm to 3pm

Tuesday, June 23 Flight EK150 with a 10 pm departure was changed to EK148 departing 3-30pm from Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport.
Flight changes effectively removed the last day set aside to visit science museum. and the Body shop. An A380 made the 7hr flight to Dubai. To compensate for the changed 11hr stopover, Emirates provided a hotel stay in Dubai. After formalities, queuing, a breakfast and transfers I obtained 2.5 hrs sleep in a real comfortable bed. Morning buss back to the airport for a 9am departure with another A380 flight to Christchurch (incl. a Sydney stopover). Both flights were lightly loaded so I had 3 seats and room to fully lie down on both flights. That was special - and meant plenty of sleep on both flights.
