SAT 13  – To Swakopmund  Via Walvis Bay

About 350 km journey through anything but boring desert to the Atlantic coast,  Started at 7-30 and a nice 19deg,  By 8-30 the temp was 35deg and altitude just over 1,000m.  Reached Walvis Bay port city at 2-30 and temps a cooler 19deg, patches of sea fog and a strong onshore breeze. Drove around the coast for feel of the place then on to Swakopmund, (pop 44.000), 30km up the desert coast from Walvis Bay.  Took a late evening  walk to the main street for a quick snack and FROZE with the cold wind and dampness.
