Tues 2 June  Ghau Doc to Phnom Penh

5am rise rushed breakfast to meet Tang & Vic (guide & driver) and the speed boat for 7am departure. Big group of Germans and me on the boat, after a couple of hours had to go through the boarder process and as we were overtaken by another group we had to wait for them to be processed first. stood around outside in the heat (mid 30's) and after an hour off again arriving about 1230. Had a great chat to one lady about her work as a social worker for drug and alcohol dependent people and a primary school teacher. Another had recently toured NZ & raved.  Met the new guide at the birth and I was gone - again own driver and guide just for me.   Visited the Local prison used by the Kamere Rouge. 40°C Not nice but another reminder of man's inhumanity to man.  It seems I am going to learn a lot tomorrow with another trying day driving 6 hours to Seim Reap.  Too many things and people to recall properly here. - Air con is now a too cold when it is below 25°
