Thu 4   at Siem Reap - Temples of Angkor Wat

4-45am met new guide and off to Angkor Wat World Heritage Area about 15 km away. The temples were built between the 10th - 16th centenary Khmer kings when this was the capital of their empire. They were first built for Hindu faith then later Buddhism became dominant. Sadly the sky wasn't ideal for a great pics and waiting to hold a spot in the crowd for 3 hours was not my preference.  The guide was helpful in side-stepping the crowds & queues of tourists and we saw the the places  in peace by keeping ahead of the rowdy throngs.
