Weather:  0 deg to -5 deg. Strong wind and cloudy. Very cold - snow flurries.  Outlook:  Improving 

Morning Restful cruise today since yesterday's late zodiac ride.  Big USA ice breaker passed by during breakfast and a large cruise ship was seen as a speck in the distance yesterday.

Evening The sea ice still holding firm  at 11-30 pm. Unable to access Scott's first hut so we sailed quietly beside sea ice sheet to view the whales and penguins.

Had a catch up doze and 2 lectures. Sightings of orcas and emperors. Everyone rushes up 4 levels to the bone-chilling cold for the pics then back inside to thaw out.
