New day after good rest.  Power in hotel not too good and can't get the phone to charge.  After a few teething problems and a fair bit of time got the pics up for Friday.  Then the loo flush failed at a critical time. 

☺  Breakfast too just didn't work for me.  Great choices but to find it was a real mission.    Eventually, I put together a ereal combination of nuts, fruit, muesli, milk,  found a table, sat down to find there was no spoon.  After another difficult hunt, I arrived back to find the most efficient waiter had cleared the table completely!!! 

The heat was hitting the town when I got away about 1130 for the 600m walk to the metro station.  (41deg outside).  After that it was all air-conditioned inside the big Dubai Mall.  Lunch was a $16 milkshake.
 

Note sign for women & children  Yep I got caught, yesterday!  Had to walk the entire carriage to get into the anybody area.  So embarrassing when a local points out the rules.  Saw another poor male tourist scurry back red faced today.  Probably happens a lot.
