This Zone best shows the variety of the technologies and businesses that arrived here to build the mining and milling industries of the 1870s 

Guests can gain an overview or concentrate on the industries of most interest them. In this zone many industries are generally smaller operations and the people involves can provide us with help to understand them.   There are also several abandoned operations enabling us to safely explore areas where they operated.
