These tourist towns provide facilities for visitors to the world-famous glaciers.

They are spectacularly nestled under Australasia's highest mountains close to the glaciers amid lowland dinosaur rainforests.

These are tourist service towns enamelling us to take in some shopping, explore the rivers, walks, information centres or enjoy a local movie. 

Helicopters take visitors to the top of the glaciers and guides take groups to walk on to the glaciers from the snouts.
