"I loved
Olveston House. The thought of being in a family of four and having seven
staff....I could handle that. The furniture, crockery and silverware were
stunning. I'd need one maid just to polish the silver. The house had lots of
mod cons including electric lights powered by a generator, a mix-master and towel rails
heated by hot water." "At
the moment I am on the bus on the laptop, on the way to Dunedin, which is another 3
hours away! We just went shopping in Invercargill where, once again I went to Glassons
(this is the fourth time now in various locations) I bought a jacket for 10 dollars!
Bargain! I am having sooooooooo much fun over here and there is just a few days
left." "Today we went to Invercargill and
did some shopping. We went to a museum and it had some pretty interesting stuff. There
were heaps of rooms dedicated to break dancing stuff and graffiti. There was a video
playing on a mini movie screen showing a break dancing competition. There was a wall with
all graffiti on it. There was a hand sprayed on there that looked like it came out of the
wall. It was cool." "Tomorrow I am going shopping in Dunedin, to the Cadbury chocolate factory and to the swimming centre thingy. I can't wait..."

Tomorrow we are off to the Cadbury chockie
factory...YUM YUM! I'll bring you back some souvenirs, sorry if I accidentally eat
some!" "Cadbury's was terrific. We
had the wildest guide. She got us all singing songs about chocolate as loud as we
could in a round, metal room which echoed. We stood against the wall as one
tonne of
chocolate poured down the centre of the room. Looked like it would be fun to shower
in." "Today I saw a tuatara. Its like a lizard. Well it looked like one". |
